CounterSpace Garage worked with OS Giken to develop a true CSG Spec single plate clutch system specific to the Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S / Toyota 86 application. The clutch system comes complete with upgraded clutch fork and upgraded throwout bearing. The result is a system with a linear pedal effort to operate, high modulation, excellent rigidity, and proper application for NA and medium boost applications. These characteristics have improved reliability of the clutch system, which is an inherent weak point on the Subaru BRZ / Toyota 86. Lower inertia assembly reduces the stress in the powertrain and drivetrain.
System is rated for just over 300wtq applications.
Disclaimer: This clutch kit is sold as a race part. Improper installation may cause uneven wear or accelerated degradation. As always, work with an experienced professional to ensure proper installation of your system.
The OS Giken clutches feature a free floating pressure plate. If your mechanic is not familiar with race performance multi-plate clutch kits, the noise of a floating pressure plate may be unfamiliar. The sound typically is similar to that of a school bell or a Ducati dry clutch. The sound should be consistent in volume and pitch when the clutch pedal is fully depressed. This free floating design allows for full use of the clutch friction materia
